As we continue to grow, we are expanding our efforts to reach even more Latines and help them develop as professionals in the games industry.

LATINX IN GAMING HAS BIG PLANS FOR 2026!

In 2026, we plan on continuing the momentum from our highly successful programming.

We aim to:

  • Attend the Game Developers Conference 2026 accompanied by 16 scholars and host our first collaboration event with AAPI in Gaming and Black in Gaming!

  • Grants Program 2026, our 6th iteration of our financial assistance program for professional development

  • Attend gamescom LatAm for the first time to establish roots in Brazil

  • Host Mentorship Morning sessions at PAX West 2026

  • Celebrate the community during Hispanic Heritage Month

  • Partner with Latin American games organizations to support the games industry were there is most need

  • Continued online initiatives like webinars, cultural events, and workshops

  • So much more!
